LCA Expands Educational Services as a Jon Peterson Special Needs Scholarship Provider

Lakewood Catholic Academy is proud to announce its new status as an approved provider for the Jon Peterson Special Needs (JPSN) Scholarship Program. This initiative underscores LCA’s commitment to inclusive education by offering enhanced support to students with special needs.

The JPSN Scholarship, administered by the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce, provides scholarships to students in grades K-12 who have an Individualized Education Program (IEP). The scholarship covers services outlined in a student’s IEP, with award amounts varying based on the primary disability category, ranging from $9,585 to $32,445 per year .

By becoming a JPSN provider, LCA expands its educational offerings to better serve students requiring specialized instruction and services. This aligns with LCA’s mission to provide a nurturing and academically rigorous environment rooted in Catholic values.

“Our inclusion in the JPSN program reflects our dedication to meeting the diverse needs of our student body,” said Brenna Warrell, Principal of Lakewood Catholic Academy. “We are committed to providing all students with the resources and support they need to succeed academically.”
