Alumni
Remember your first day of school? Do you remember your plaid uniforms and clip-on ties? Can you see your First Communion class all in white?
Lakewood Catholic Academy opened our doors in August 2005 as a regional Catholic elementary school, joining together three existing Lakewood parish schools: Saint Clement (1924-2005), Saint James (1912-2005), and Saint Luke (1928-2005). In 2010, we welcomed the newly merged Transfiguration parish to our family when the church’s affiliated elementary school, Saints Cyril and Methodius (1908-2010) closed. Our campus has been a home to Catholic education since 1921 when the Sisters of Charity opened the doors as St. Augustine Academy.
To celebrate our rich history, we have formed the Lakewood Catholic Academy Alumni Association that links the traditions of the past with current practices and plans for the future. We would like to invite all graduates of our merged schools, along with LCA graduates to reconnect with former students and friends. We would also like to extend an invitation to all St. Augustine Academy graduates to join our alumni association. Lakewood Catholic Academy is honored to continue your educational legacy!
We would love to hear updates from our alumni! We encourage you to visit our school to see firsthand the excellent education taking place within these historic walls.
