Supporting Parishes
Lakewood Catholic Academy is very pleased to have strong, supportive relationships with each of the 4 Catholic parishes in the city of Lakewood. 3 of the 4 parishes St. Clement, St. James, and St. Luke began Lakewood Catholic Academy in Fall 2005 after merging their separate parish schools. Transfiguration, formerly Sts. Cyril and Methodius, joined as a supporting parish after the completion of their merger with St. Rose of Lima in 2010.
The strength of the relationships we have with each of these parishes is central to religious instruction at LCA, instruction in which our students learn the values of our Catholic faith. At the heart of our faith are the 7 sacraments. In every way that we can, LCA works with our supporting parishes to help our students both prepare for and experience these important stages in their growth as Catholics.
